Our Office Manager Sam is leaving, and we are looking for someone to fill her shoes!

Title: Office Manager, Elizabeth Allemann MD 10-20 hours; $15/hour starting pay; benefits include access to HBOT chamber and Sauna
Job Description: Manage reception and general office duties for a single practitioner, who is a holistic family medicine doctor and acupuncturist. Can see up to 12 patients a day, with many visits being on the phone or online due to COVID precautions. Duties:
Support Dr. Allemann in her duties providing excellent patient care; manage paper filing system
Receive patients in person and on the phone warmly- schedule/reschedule visits using Schedulicity (online software) and handle payments;
Manage fax, email and phone communications with labs, other providers, hospitals, etc;
Keep office clean and well-stocked (incl. bathrooms, vacuuming, trash and some small maintenance tasks for the building)
Help patients into the HyperBaric Oxygen Chamber and Sauna.
Help with Facebook posting, proofreading newsletters and website/blog posts
Schedule and receive breastmilk donation drop-offs from donors; ship breastmilk to the Mother’s Milk Bank
Run payroll using online software
Excited about holistic healthcare

Ability to navigate multiple streams of information, prioritizing patients; ability to track tasks and projects, keeping track of what’s completed and uncompleted

Helpful to have:
Some previous exposure or understanding of medical procedures and medical terminology

Ideally we'd have you start the first week of August, with a couple days of in-person training between now and then. This is flexible. Our office is seeing one patient at a time, with many of our visits occurring via phone and online. We are on the low end of the spectrum in terms of your exposure to patients. Masks and other personal protective equipment are provided.
